Baseball
Contributions from the
community are essential to running a consistently successful high school
baseball program. In the past year
alone, we were able to use donations to fund upgrades to both Chambers Field
(our on-campus facility) and Lee Johnson Field, where the Varsity team plays
all their home games. At our school
site, we planted a new grass infield and reconfigured the outdoor batting cages
on top of many other upgrades. At Lee
Johnson, a brand new state-of-the-art scoreboard was installed last summer
(funded by Lee Johnson Chevrolet and the City of Kirkland) and we are currently
working on a proposal to add a batter’s eye behind the center field fence as
well as make other aesthetic improvements.
