Baseball
Contributions from the
community are essential to running a consistently successful high school
baseball program. In the past three
years, we were able to use donations to fund upgrades to both Chambers Field (our
on-campus facility) and Lee Johnson Field, where the Varsity team plays all
their home games. At our school site,
we planted a new grass infield and reconfigured the outdoor batting cages on
top of many other upgrades. At Lee
Johnson, a brand new state-of-the-art scoreboard was installed in 2009 (funded
by Lee Johnson Chevrolet and the City of Kirkland) and we are currently working
on other aesthetic improvements.
Additionally, in 2011, the team was able to travel and play in a
tournament in Arizona over Spring Break.
The funds used were donated to the program by our outstanding
supporters.
