Alexander Wins Crown Division Player of the Week

Sophomore Theo Alexander hit .600 with four extra base hits last week.

Congratulations to LW sophomore Theo Alexander, who was awarded the Crown Division Player of the Week for week 6. Alexander was 2-for-2 with a double and a home run in the Kangs 5-3 loss to Bothell. He finished 2-for-4 with two doubles in their extra inning win over Roosevelt and capped off the week with a 2-for-4 performance against Woodinville, where he drove in 2 of LW’s 6 runs. For the week, Theo was 6-for-10 with 3 doubles, a home run, 5 runs scored and 5 RBI.

The regular season concludes on Tuesday, as it is Senior Night at Lee Johnson Field. The Kangs will play host to division leading Inglemoor at 7:00 pm. Lake Washington will then prepare for the KingCo playoffs, which they qualified for with their win over Woodinville on Friday. The tournament starts on Saturday at Woodinville HS and Lake Washington will play in either the 10:00 am or the 7:00 pm game, pending Tuesday’s results.
