Pivotal
Three-Game Week Starts with ‘Riders

LW”s 2010 post-season hopes are on
the line this week.
The
final three-game week of the regular season is a critical one for the Lake
Washington Kangs, as they look to extend their streak of appearances in the KingCo 4A playoffs.
Currently, the Kangs sit in a tie with Ballard for the fourth and final
playoff spot in the Crown Division (full standings).
A season sweep of the Beavers gives LW the tiebreaker advantage in the
case that the two teams finish the year with the same league record. However, the final four games (including
three this week) will go a long way in determining the team’s fate.
First on the docket
is a trip to Lower Woodland Park in Seattle to take on Roosevelt. The
Roughriders, fresh off their extra inning win over Woodinville on Thursday,
currently sport a 3-9 record. However,
with games against Lake Washington and Ballard this week, they are very much
alive in the playoff chase. Game time
is at 3:45 pm.
