Chambers
Field Renovations Near Completion

The addition of a grass infield was the main upgrade made
to Chambers Field this off-season.
With just six weeks remaining until the start of the 2009
Kangs Baseball season, the finishing touches are being made to Lake
Washington’s Chambers Field. A grass
infield was planted in September and filled in nicely through the fall
months. A winter snowstorm affected some
of the grass, so sod was laid to repair the damaged areas. The infield cutouts have been made and the
field is just about ready for action.
You can see more photos of the upgrades in the field renovation photo album.
While the Varsity team will continue to play their games at
Lee Johnson
Field, the upgrades made to the on-site facility will benefit the JV and
sophomore teams, giving them a better field to play on. In addition, Chambers Field serves as the
primary practice field for all three of the Kang teams.
Check back through the off-season for updates on Kangs
baseball.
