Varsity Sweeps, JV Splits in 2008 Jamboree

 

The Lake Washington Kangs varsity team won both of their jamboree games on Saturday, topping Archbishop Murphy 2-0 in the opener and downing Mercer Island 6-2 in the second three-inning game.

 

The JV Kangs bounced back nicely from a tough defeat in their first three-inning set against Mercer Island by topping Archbishop Murphy in the final game.

 

Opening Day is Tuesday, March 11th when the Kangs play host to the Roosevelt Roughriders at 6:00 pm at Lee Johnson Field.
