Play Heats Up with Three-Game Week

The Kangs will play host to Franklin on Monday night at
7:00 pm.
Following a 14-0 win over Roosevelt last week, the Kangs
schedule heats up this week with three games on tap. On Monday, Lake Washington returns to the
field after nearly a one-week hiatus to play host to the Franklin Quakers. Franklin will be playing their first game of
the 2008 season, as their game last week against Garfield was rained out. After an off-day on Tuesday, Lake Washington
finishes up a three-game homestand against the first-place Redmond Mustangs,
who sit atop the conference with a 2-0 record following wins over Bothell and
Ballard. Friday brings the season’s
first road game, as the Kangs travel to the plateau to take on the 1-1 Eastlake
Wolves. Eastlake dropped their opener to
Inglemoor, but bounced back with a 6-2 win over Bothell on Saturday.
Typical Washington weather has played havoc with the KingCo
schedule in the early going. Of the 10
scheduled games last week, only three of them were played on their originally
scheduled date. Three games are still
outstanding as Woodinville-Inglemoor, Juanita-Roosevelt and Franklin-Garfield
are still looking to make up their rained out games from last Thursday.
Check back often for updates on the Kangs and the rest of
the KingCo 4A conference.
