Jamborees on Tap for Saturday

 

After two weeks of preparation and competing against themselves, the Kangs will finally have a chance to suit up against other teams.  The annual jamborees will take place on Saturday, where the Kangs will take on the Redmond Mustangs and Eastside Catholic Crusaders.  The Varsity jamboree is set for a 12:00 pm start at Hartman Park in Redmond.  The Kangs will start the day by taking on the Mustangs for three innings and follow that up with three innings against the Crusaders.  The JV jamboree will take place at Lee Johnson Field at 4:00 pm.  As the host of the event, Lake Washington will play the first three innings and the last three innings of the contest, with Redmond and Eastside Catholic playing against each other in the middle three frames.

 

Following Saturday's jamborees, the Kangs will have just one day of practice before officially opening their 2007 slate on Tuesday against the Roosevelt Roughriders.  The Varsity game will be played at Ingraham High School (directions) at 6:00 pm.  Meanwhile, the JV hosts Roosevelt at Lake Washington High School; game time is 3:45.
