Site Updates & Former Kang Accolades

 

With the off-season in full swing, some updates have been made to Kangs Baseball web site.  The Kang Alumni page has been updated to reflect the 2007 graduating seniors, eight of which will be continuing their baseball careers at either the college or pro level.  All in all since 2005, 16 Kang Baseball graduates have moved on to college or professional teams – what a great accomplishment for our program!  In addition, the Kang History page has been updated to reflect the 2007 season - another successful one for the Lake Washington baseball program.  Updates will be made to that page in the coming months as more and more historical data is uploaded to the site.  Also, stay tuned to the site as at some point this off-season, a Kang record book will be published which will chronicle the LW baseball single-season and career leaders in many statistical categories.

 

The Kang baseball family would like to recognize two of its former players for accolades they have recently received:

 

·         Nick Hundley (class of 2002) was named to the Texas League Post-Season All-Star team.

 

·         David Marks (class of 2005) was named the Boston Red Sox Minor League Baserunner of the Month.

 

Congratulations to those former Kangs for their success at the professional level!
