Kangs
Prepare for Final Stretch

The Kangs look for more moments like this one
in the second half of the season.
The Lake Washington baseball team goes into
their second bye of the season at 8-3, winning seven of their last eight
games. Since starting the season 1-2,
the Kangs have outscored their opponents 62-22, with their only loss coming in
a 3-2 defeat to Woodinville. Their 8-3 record
puts them in a tie for third place in the KingCo 4A conference with the Redmond
Mustangs, two games behind the 10-1 Bothell Cougars and a game behind second
place Woodinville (9-2).
The Kangs return to action Friday night when
they host the Franklin Quakers at Lee Johnson Field at 7:00 pm. Meanwhile, KingCo play continues tonight with
five games including a few games with playoff implications:
·
Bothell puts their eight-game win streak on the line when they
play host to 6-5 Eastlake.
·
Ballard (7-4) and Redmond (8-3) face off in a rematch of an
early season slugfest.
·
Woodinville carries a seven-game win streak into their game at Inglemoor (5-6).
