Returns to Action with 4-Game Week
Lake Washington returns to action Monday
night against first-place Bothell.
With a week of bad weather behind them, the
Kangs return to action with four games in a five-day stretch starting tonight
when they take on the first place Bothell Cougars. Lake Washington will travel to Bothell, where
the first pitch is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
Bothell is tied atop the KingCo standings with the Redmond Mustangs, each
sporting 4-1 records. The Kangs enter
play at 1-1, having been rained out on four separate occassions
last week.
On Tuesday, Lake Washington will have their
long-awaited home opener when they play host to the Eastlake Wolves at 3:45 pm
at Lee Johnson Field. The game was
originally scheduled for last Friday, but was postponed due to rain. The Kangs mini-homestand
continues on Wednesday, when they welcome in the upstart Ballard Beavers at
7:00 pm. Ballard is off to a hot start,
winning three of their first four games to find themselves just a half-game out
of first place. After an off-day
Thursday, Lake Washington will return to action on Friday when they travel to
Garfield High School to take on the Bulldogs (2-2).
