Kangs
Return to Action Against Redmond
The Kangs take on Redmond tonight after a one
week layoff.
After a 7-day layoff due to a bye and a
rain-out, the Lake Washington Kangs finally return to action tonight when they
take on the Redmond Mustangs. Today’s
game is a Varsity-JV doubleheader at Hartman Park in Redmond, with the JV
contest starting at 3:45 pm followed in the night cap by the Varsity game
scheduled for 7:00 pm. The Kangs come in
to the game as one of only two remaining unbeatens in
the KingCo 4A Conference after just one week of play. Lake Washington was victorious in their only
game of the season to date, beating Roosevelt 10-0 last Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the Mustangs come in at 1-1 after
beating Ballard 12-8 last Thursday and look to move above the .500 mark.
The only KingCo 4A game played on Tuesday
featured two unbeaten teams as the Woodinville Falcons (2-0) traveled to
Bothell to take on the Cougars (2-0).
Bothell improved to 3-0 behind starting pitcher Chris Dennis with a 9-5
win over the defending KingCo 4A champion Falcons.
