Early Season KingCo Play Continues

 

Tha Kangs had the first of their two byes this season on Thursday.

 

With the KingCo 4A conference down to 11 teams, each team will have two byes over the course of the season.  The Kangs first bye came on Thursday following their season-opening 10-0 win over Roosevelt (game recap).  Lake Washington continues league play next week with a full slate of games.  The Kangs travel to Franklin on Monday at 3:45 and then to Hartman Park on Wednesday to take on the Redmond Mustangs.  Lake Washington's home opener takes place on Friday afternoon when they play host to the Eastlake Wolves at 3:45.

 

While the Kangs were practicing on Thursday, the rest of the conference was in action.  Bothell and Woodinville both improved to 2-0 on Thursday, with Bothell topping Eastlake 8-4 and Woodinville winning a pitchers duel over Inglemoor, 3-2.  At Hartman Park, Redmond evened their record at 1-1 with a comeback 12-8 victory over Ballard.  Elsewhere, Juanita outslugged Roosevelt, 12-9 and Garfield topped Franklin, 11-5.
